Sustainability Day 2025 was not just another conference Dcycle attended. It was the event where the entire company showed up. Over 30 team members across sales, customer success, marketing, partnerships, and operations descended on Museo Reina Sofia in Madrid on October 21, 2025, with one mission: make sure every attendee left knowing who Dcycle is.
As coffee break sponsor, Dcycle’s logo appeared on the main screens during the mid-morning pause, with the event presenter giving the company a direct shout-out to the full auditorium. But the real play was not the sponsorship. It was the activation.
Dcycle secured four meeting area tables plus two dedicated spaces in the vestibule of the auditoriums on the second floor. From 10:00 to 13:00, the team ran live demos of the Dcycle platform, showing attendees how connected ESG data architecture works in practice.
The idea was simple and brilliant. Dcycle designed bingo cards filled with sustainability buzzwords: the kind of vague, overused terms that show up in every corporate keynote. Attendees received the cards at the entrance and had to mark off each word as they heard it during the talks.
When someone completed their card, they walked over to the Dcycle tables, signed up for an upcoming webinar on supplier management, and received an exclusive Dcycle t-shirt. The result was a stream of laughing, engaged professionals lining up at the Dcycle booth, bingo cards in hand.
“We have been paying close attention to the buzzwords in the talks. Such an original idea, we had so much fun,” said Miriam, Director of Communication and Sustainability at IAM Carbonzero, who left wearing her new Dcycle shirt and signed up for the webinar on the spot.
The Bingo Bullshitero turned lead capture into entertainment. Instead of cold conversations at a booth, Dcycle created a shared experience that people talked about throughout the day.
The team split into three squads with clear roles. The “Carton Commanders” stationed at the entrance handed out bingo cards and pens to every person walking in. The “Stand Defenders” managed the meeting area tables, ran platform demos, collected webinar sign-ups, and distributed t-shirts. The “Bingo Spartans” roamed the event floor, engaging attendees who had not yet started playing, reinforcing the brand, and making sure nobody escaped without a bingo card.
The team wore matching black Dcycle t-shirts reading “Supplier Data: I will find you, and I will report you” and carried branded lanyards, creating a visible, unified presence across the entire venue. From the accreditation area to the auditorium exits, from the coffee break zone to the meeting area on the second floor, Dcycle was impossible to miss.
The meeting area ran from 10:00 to 13:00 across four spaces, with team members rotating between live carbon footprint demos and conversations about multi-framework reporting. Clients like Tinsa, Tolsa, Telpark, Moldtrans, Eurofragance, Miranza, Nacex, Iberostar, and Grupo Rubi stopped by to say hello. Prospects lined up for demos. Partners from consulting firms explored integration opportunities.
Sustainability Day 2025 brought together companies, NGOs, startups, public administrations, and foundations committed to sustainability. The day featured parallel keynotes and roundtables in two auditoriums, plus workshops on regulatory updates, sustainability as a strategic tool, and management priorities on the sixth floor.
The event closed with the Sustainability Actions 2025 awards, recognizing the most impactful sustainability initiatives across six categories: public administrations, education, organizations, foundations and NGOs, companies, and startups.
The team walked away with clear tactical insights. Distributing something at the entrance is critical: it creates the first touchpoint and sets the tone for every interaction that follows. Standing between the accreditation space and the event entrance is the highest-traffic position. Branded lanyards and business cards are a must. And clients repeatedly asked whether Dcycle would be giving a keynote, confirming that speaker slots should be a priority at future events.
Sustainability Day 2025 proved that Dcycle can dominate an event without a keynote slot, simply by being more creative, more visible, and more fun than anyone else in the room.
