In practice, a single declaration of conformity often covers several packaging units at once. The supplier portal now reflects this reality: suppliers can link one document to as many packaging units as it actually applies to, instead of forcing a one to one match that never matched how declarations are issued.
Questions that match how suppliers actually respond
Most suppliers attest general compliance and attach their declaration as evidence, rather than reporting measured lab values. The portal’s questions have been rewritten to reflect this, asking for attestation and the supporting document instead of lab data that most suppliers do not provide. The result is a form that is quicker to fill in and produces answers you can actually use.
Available in the supplier’s own language
A language selector is now available in the portal, so suppliers can complete their submissions in their own language instead of yours. This reduces friction and misunderstandings, especially for suppliers who are less comfortable working in English.
