Report Builder

The report is a product, not an export.

Create a GHG report, an EINF, an ISO 14064 inventory or a report of your own from inside the project, on top of the data you already collected. Edit every figure and every paragraph, work on it with your team at the same time, and export a document you do not have to fix afterwards.

From project to finished document

Everything the report needs, without leaving the data

Any report, built from inside the project

Start from a template or from a blank document, with no extra setup. Every numeric and text value is editable, you can duplicate pages to reuse a structure and add the sections you need. On a GHG report you also choose which organizations consolidate: a tree of the holding and its subsidiaries, everything selected by default, and the whole report follows your choice.

Write it together, with the GHG expert on hand

Several people work on the same report at the same time. You edit together, leave comments, mention teammates with an @ and they get notified. Alongside it sits an AI expert trained on the official GHG Protocol documentation: ask about scopes, categories or methodology and it answers with the reference, in the context of your own project.

Lay it out like a document, not a data dump

Choose the font, set the page as A4 or Letter in portrait or landscape, pick normal, narrow or wide margins, and decide where each page breaks. Set the decimals on any table, value or chart and apply that precision to every table in one click. Resize, align, crop, replace and add alt text to images. Your choices are saved with the report and survive the export.

Ready for whoever verifies it

Add a live uncertainty analysis calculated from your actual project data, which is what an ISO 14064 verifier expects, rather than static defaults. When someone marks a data point as unavailable during the pre-audit and explains why, that justification is appended automatically in a table at the end. And every figure stays traceable back to the file it came from.

Your choice Manual process Legacy tools

Word and PDF export

Download the report as PDF or DOCX with the page setup you chose. Charts stay charts instead of collapsing into tables, and a wide table warns you so you can fit it to the page in one click.

Page setup

A4 or Letter, portrait or landscape, and normal, narrow or wide margins. New reports start with narrower margins, which leaves about a third more room for your data.

Decimal control

Two arrows on any table, value or chart until the figure reads the way you want, then apply that precision to every table in the report. Change one back later if you need it more precise.

Organizations to consolidate

Pick exactly which companies of the group a GHG report covers. Leave everything selected and new subsidiaries are included automatically.

Mentions and notifications

Type @ in a comment or in the report data to bring a teammate in, the same way it works in tasks. They get notified without anyone chasing them.

Pre-audit justifications

The explanation of why a data point is missing travels from the pre-audit into the editable report, so the reader gets the full story instead of a gap.

“Dcycle helped us consolidate 6 facilities across 2 countries into a single source of truth. Our auditors couldn't believe the level of traceability.”
Lina Pena Corp. Services Director, KLN Iberia
“I see your help as super necessary, I can't imagine maintaining the contract without your advisory component. We went from scattered spreadsheets to a unified system in weeks.”
Yolanda Carazo Environmental Manager, Embutidos Monells
“Our investors value our ESG commitment. Dcycle made us a reference in the financial sector, we can respond to any audit or client request instantly.”
Teresa de Vicente Sustainability Lead, Finsolutia

Frequently asked questions

What is the Report Builder?

It is the editor where the report is actually built, inside the project that holds the data. You start from a template or from scratch, edit any figure or paragraph, add and duplicate sections, lay the document out, and export it. It is the difference between a report you assemble in the platform and an export you then spend a day fixing in Word.

How is this different from multi-framework reporting?

Multi-framework reporting is about the data: one data point feeding CSRD, GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, EcoVadis and CDP at the same time, so last year's report updates in one click. The Report Builder is about the document those figures end up in: writing it, laying it out, collaborating on it and exporting it. You normally use both.

Can several people work on the same report at once?

Yes. Multiple people can edit the same report at the same time, leave comments, mention teammates with an @ and receive notifications. Closer to a shared document than to a reporting tool, with your sustainability data behind it.

What does the GHG AI Expert do exactly?

It is trained on the official GHG Protocol documentation and answers questions about scopes, categories, methodology and calculations with a reference to the source. It is not a generic chatbot: it runs inside your project, so the answer is framed by the data you actually have.

How does the live uncertainty analysis work?

When you generate a GHG report you can include an uncertainty analysis calculated from your real project data instead of static defaults. It gives the transparency and the data quality read that an ISO 14064 verifier looks for, and it goes into the export with the rest of the report.

Do my charts survive the export to Word?

Yes. What you see in the editor is what you get in the export: charts stay charts instead of collapsing into tables. If a table is too wide for the page you get a warning and can fit it to the page in one click, so nothing arrives cut off.

Which reports can I build with it?

GHG inventories, EINF with its GRI traceability appendix, ISO 14064, and any report of your own built from scratch. The layout, the decimals and the page setup you choose are saved with the report and reused the next time.

Do I have to rebuild the report every year?

No. The structure, the sections and your formatting choices stay with the report. When the new fiscal year closes, the figures refresh and you confirm what changed, so the second year costs a fraction of the first.
