Duplicate file warning during upload

Now, when you or your team upload documents, Leia flags whether a file was already uploaded before — so you can decide what to do before a duplicate slips into your data.

Uploading the same invoice twice is a common mistake that surfaces in audits and reduces the accuracy of your verifications and action plans. With this notice, Leia detects the possible duplicate during classification and lets you resolve it on the spot.

What changed?

  • During upload, in the Classification step, Leia flags files that look identical to one already uploaded (with an indicator and a hover tooltip).
  • When you open the file detail, you’ll see a clear notice: “Leia has detected that this file might be a duplicate”, along with the original document it would be a copy of.
  • You decide what to do:

You don’t need to do anything. The next time you (or your team) upload documents in Data → My files, Leia will automatically warn you about possible duplicates.
