The Dcycle PPWR module now includes three improvements designed to help you manage packaging compliance more thoroughly and transparently. You can define the markets where each packaging unit is sold, see exactly where every data point comes from, and share your compliance documentation with external parties securely.
These features address a growing need: as PPWR regulation evolves, companies must not only calculate compliance but also demonstrate that their data is reliable and that they are prepared for the requirements of each country.
Target markets and country-specific regulations
You can now assign target markets to each packaging unit. When you select the countries where a product is sold, Dcycle automatically displays the specific regulatory obligations for each market, such as Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements or additional national restrictions.
This gives you a clear view of which regulations apply to each packaging unit based on its destination, without consulting external sources. The country selector supports multiple selection, so you can manage packaging distributed across several markets from a single view.
Data traceability
The new traceability view lets you track the origin of every data point associated with your packaging units. For each field, you can see whether the value comes from a supplier declaration, an internally entered data point, or an automatic platform calculation.
When data comes from a supplier, you can identify who provided it and download the supporting documents attached to that declaration. This transparency simplifies internal audits and prepares you for potential external verification processes.
Document sharing with public links and QR codes
You can now generate public links to share your PPWR packaging documentation with customers, auditors, or any stakeholder. Each link includes a QR code that you can embed in printed reports, labels, or presentations.
Recipients access the documentation directly without needing a Dcycle account. This lets you demonstrate packaging compliance quickly and professionally, in both digital and physical formats.
