What’s new
Introducing bulk invoice splitting: you can now select multiple electricity, water, heating, recharge, or process invoices within a facility and apply the same facility consumption-split rule to all of them in a single action.
Until now, dividing an invoice’s consumption across multiple facilities (for example, when several sites share the same supply contract) meant editing each invoice individually. If you needed to apply the same split to twelve monthly invoices for a full year, you had to repeat the process twelve separate times, invoice by invoice.
How it works
From a facility’s invoice table, select the invoices you want to split. You can pick specific invoices manually, or use the available filters to automatically select every invoice matching certain criteria, such as a date range or a supplier.
Click the new “Split invoices” button and define the percentage of consumption that belongs to each facility. Before applying any changes, you’ll see a preview, and you’ll be warned if any of the selected invoices already had a different split configured, so you can decide whether to proceed with full context.
Once confirmed, the split runs in the background, and you can watch its progress in real time from the activity panel, without needing to wait or pause your work while it completes.
Why it matters
For organizations with multiple facilities that share supply contracts or infrastructure, this feature removes hours of repetitive manual work and significantly reduces the risk of errors from re-entering the same percentages invoice by invoice.
It’s especially useful when closing out a full year of billing, correcting a consumption split after an organizational change, or bringing in historical invoices that all need the same facility split criteria applied. Instead of opening each invoice on its own, you handle the whole batch at once and move on with your day.
This feature is available for the electricity, water, heating, recharge, and process categories.
